Lucy graduated from New York University where she was able to express her passions for environmental education and a more just food system through working on a plant-based default campaign with the Greener by Default Coalition at NYU. She is an alum of the New Roots Institute’s Fellowship where she is currently a Teaching Fellow, supporting other student activists to fight for better food policies at their schools and in their communities.
Why I support Switch4Good: Reducing the consumption of dairy products is a critical, but daunting, step toward environmental, interspecies, and social justice. I deeply appreciate Switch4Good’s work to make this transition accessible and exciting for all, no matter their lifestyle.
Favorite dairy-free food: NUMU vegan mozzarella on pizza
How I stay active: Riding my bike around my neighborhood in Brooklyn, hiking in upstate New York along the Metro North train line, and playing pickup soccer in the park!
