Campus Change
Do you want to change the menu in your dining hall or cafeteria to provide more plant-based options?
There are many ways that students and student groups can effect change on their campuses, but one of the most impactful is through changing the food served on a daily basis in your school cafeteria, university dining halls, and cafes. Even minor changes to current practices can make an enormous difference in the impact your school’s dining has on our planet and the animals. This is where you can come in.
We want to support YOU working to move your school in a healthier and more sustainable direction. Whether that is through eliminating the upcharge for plant milks, renaming and reorganizing food options, or promoting a plant-based by default approach to service, we are here to support you every step of the way.
We also have a coalition of students and recent graduates to answer your questions and provide peer to peer guidance.

School and Club Activities
Let’s say you’re already part of a club on campus, educating your peers and advocating for change, but need more resources and support. We can help make your event more successful with our evidence-based resources including printed materials, presentation slides, and more. Some examples of educational events from our students include tabling at sustainability fairs and presentations about the benefits of a plant-based diet for athletes.
We will also help brainstorm ways to reach a larger audience and create a bigger impact.
If you aren’t part of a club or organization, you can still spread the dairy-free message to your peers. We’ve had students present or share information with their athletics teams and classes. You can also share our Action Alerts to help move our campaigns forward. If you are motivated, we can work together.
Lastly, if your school or coursework has a service learning requirement, senior project, or similar assignment, we are happy to act as your advisor or mentor.

Service Learning and Internships
Switch4Good provides more structured, hands-on learning opportunities for students through Service Learning and internships. This allows students to learn more about working in the plant-based movement, and may include areas of interest such as health policy, nutrition, environmental science and sustainability, marketing and advertising, to name just a few.
Our students come from diverse backgrounds and locations, as well as public and private universities and high schools. Service Learning is typically tied to a course. We will combine our curricula with your course requirements to ensure a meaningful learning experience.
Our interns help us to move our goals and objectives forward and make significant contributions to the work we are doing on campuses, in the community, and even in Congress. We work with each intern individually to create a plan that fits their goals to help them grow, both personally and professionally. We can also provide dietetic internship experiences for some competencies in ACEND accredited programs.
Our internships are remote, but community and/or campus involvement may be required. Please reach out to our Director of Education, Tiffany Bruno, at [email protected] for more information on current opportunities and how to apply.
